Middle School is the perfect time to explore online learning. Students enjoy building community while strengthening the skills they need to succeed in high school. This full-year group tutorial has weekly 90-minute meetings over two 15-week semesters and includes grammar, vocabulary, composition, and literature studies. Whether they’ve had a little or a lot of previous experience, students make great strides using the Institute for Excellence in Writing Fix It! Grammar series along with the theme-based history writing lesson books. Wonderful stories provide the basis for engaging discussions while learning about literary genres and techniques. Middle School English is offered in a three-year rotation (Ancient Times, Middle Ages, and Distant Lands) that allows students to jump in and out at any point.
